I do agree that the Apple displays are overrated. If nothing, they're overpriced. I'm using a 19" NEC LCD monitor and it works great. It's VGA, though. I can tell you that I did plug my iBook into the display just to see what it would do, it worked, was very bright and gorgeous but of course the content on the screen was stretched out. I'm quite jealous. I've got a sweet old 500 MHz G4 Power Mac (the college was going to trash it) that I don't even use because I never could find a decent monitor for it. Maybe I'll look into getting myself one of these 20" Optiquests. Do you think the old ATI Rage card would have enough oomph to power it? lollerz -- I doubt it...
